2002 - CURRENT
Western Speed Racing Inc. - The team was formed in November of 2002 by Rick Gerhardt and Rick Lew as partners. They currently operate an Open Wheel racing team as USAC Sprint Car and Midget Car owners participating in USAC Western States and USAC National events. The team is based in Fresno, CA and operates out of an 8000 Sq Ft race shop. Past drivers include Tony Stewart, Jason Leffler, Michael Lewis, Dave Steele, Tony Hunt, P.J. Jones, Chase Scott and Bobby Santos. Current drivers include Nic Faas, Paul Zimmerly, and Tim Skoglund.

- USAC Western States Sprint Car winner at "Turkey Night Grand Prix", Irwindale, CA
- USAC Western States Sprint Car winner at the Las Vegas Bullring, Las Vegas, NV., Tony Stewart as driver.
2003

- USAC Western States Sprint Car Champion, Tony Hunt as driver
2005
- USAC National Midget Car winner at "Night Before The 500, Indianapolis Raceway Park.
- USAC National Midget Car winner at Pikes Peak International Raceway.
- USAC Western States Midget Car 100 lap winner at the "Gerhardt Classic", Michael Lewis as driver.
- Western Speed Racing swept qualifying with a 1, 2, 3 starting spot at Pikes Peak International Raceway and the famous "Milwaukee Mile" in the USAC National Midget Car division in 2005 events.
2006
- 1ST and 2nd PLACE FINISH AT THE 66TH RUNNING OF THE "TURKEY NIGHT GRAND PRIX" USAC NATIONAL MIDGET CAR SERIES EVENT AT IRWINDALE, CA. Billy Wease - Winner, Kody Swanson - 2nd and Chase Scott - 10th place finishes.
- USAC Western States Midget car winner of the Gerhardt Classic 100 lap Feature, Stockton 99 Speedway with Billy Wease as driver.
- USAC Western States Midget Car Midget winner of the Altamont Motorsports Park 30 lap feature with Kody Swanson as driver.
2007
- USAC Midget winner of the 5th annual Gerhardt Classic 100 lap Feature April 14th, Madera Speedway, CA. with Billy Wease - 1st and Kody Swanson - 3rd place finishes.
- USAC NATIONAL MIDGET CAR WINNER AT IOWA SPEEDWAY, MAY 5TH WITH BILLY WEASE AS DRIVER.
- WSR and Bobby Santos win in debut of Toyota powered Sprint car at Irwindale Raceway (Turkey Night 2007)
